Compute + capture

Memory and capture cards.

DDR4 and DDR5 across consumer and ECC server. CFexpress and SDXC for cinema and stills. Lexar, Kingston, Samsung, Crucial, PNY, Team Group.

Why these brands

What we stock and why.

Memory and capture cards are the workhorses behind every system on the floor — workstation builds, server upgrades, camera shoots, drone deployments. The brand choices map to specific platforms: Kingston Server Premier for Dell and HP, Crucial Pro for general workstations, Team Group T-Force for value gaming, Samsung B-die for binning enthusiasts. CFexpress Diamond for cinema cameras, SDXC V90 for full-frame stills.

We supply both retail and bulk-tray packaging across all six brands. ECC server memory is QVL-confirmed against the Dell PowerEdge and HP ProLiant AVLs before quoting — saves the support friction when an unverified module shows up.

How to choose

Four things UAE buyers ask when scoping memory & cards.

The factors that actually decide the spec — not the marketing matrix.

  1. 01

    ECC for servers, period

Production servers require ECC RAM — non-negotiable. Kingston Server Premier and Micron are the QVL-tested brands for Dell, HP, Supermicro, Lenovo. We confirm the part number against the server QVL before shipping.

  2. 02

    DDR5 speed matched to platform

Intel 13/14th gen runs DDR5-7200+ on binned boards. Ryzen 7000 caps at ~6400. Mainstream platforms run 5200–6000. Buying 8000-MT/s memory on a board that runs 5600 is a waste — match the kit to the rated platform speed.

  3. 03

    CFexpress speed grades matter

Diamond / Gold tier sustains 1500+ MB/s — required for RED V-RAPTOR, Sony VENICE 2, ARRI ALEXA. Cinema-tier cards on hybrid cameras (R5, Z9) overprovision but never bottleneck. Standard CFexpress at 800 MB/s is enough for most R5/R3/Z8 8K workflows.

  4. 04

    SDXC V60 vs V90 for 4K

    V60 sustains 60 MB/s — enough for 4K H.265. V90 sustains 90 MB/s — required for 4K ProRes and 6K hybrid recording. For wedding / event burst-rate stills, V90 removes the stutter risk on dual-card recording.

FAQ

Memory & cards buyer questions, answered.

Questions that actually come up on quotes. If yours isn't here, WhatsApp us or send the form.

  • Yes, the KSM line is QVL-tested against the Dell PowerEdge AVL. We confirm the exact part number before quoting. Typical price runs 25–40% below the Dell-branded equivalent with the same warranty.

  • Stock is intermittent. We track B-die kits when supply permits — typically through G.Skill Trident Z Royal, Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB, or Patriot Viper Steel SKUs with confirmed B-die ICs. Quote with batch verification for the binned kits.

  • DSM and QTS: 4GB for SOHO, 8–16GB for SMB primary storage, 32GB+ for virtualization or ZFS snapshots. QuTS hero adds RAM overhead for ZFS — minimum 16GB, recommended 32GB+. Synology Plus models cap at 32GB; QNAP TS-h goes to 64–128GB ECC.

  • CFexpress Type B with sustained 1700 MB/s — Lexar Professional Diamond is the safest spec. PRO-CINEMA from SanDisk works at most REDCODE ratios but caps at 1400 MB/s sustained. Match the card to the maximum REDCODE ratio you'll shoot at.

  • Technically yes if speed and timings match. The system will downclock to the slowest module's rated speed. We recommend matched kits — Kingston with Kingston, Crucial with Crucial. Mixing is acceptable for additive upgrades on existing builds.

  • SanDisk and Lexar both heavily. We source only through authorized channels and provide retail packaging with brand security features intact. For high-value orders we offer batch number verification. Avoid grey-market sourcing — counterfeit cards fail under sustained recording and corrupt data.
